I just wanted to say something.

There's more to My Chemical Romance than Gerard Way. Now, don't get me wrong. Gerard is an amazing vocalist and he doesn't look that bad, but a lot of people forget that there is 2 very amazing guitar players, a kick-ass bassist, and a phenomonal drummer in that band as well. Given, there are more Frank and Mikey fans than there are Ray and Bob fans, they still don't get the attention that the frontman himself gets. Now, I know that he's the "ringleader" or whatever, but there is no way that he should be put on a pedistal above the rest of the band. I think it's kinda bad whenever you get on buzznet and type in "My Chemical Romance" and the first few pages are of nothing but Gerard Way. Again, I'm not bashing on the man or anything, but I think that these little kids need to take him off the pedistal that they have him put up on. He's amazing and all, but there are 4 more members that deserve just as much attention as he does. Let's take Ray for example. Ray Toro is a fucking guitar god. I mean that man just blows my mind everytime I hear him play. And it's not like he has a set style that he goes by, either. He has many different styles that he uses everytime he plays. And, no matter how many times I've listened to Bullets, 3 Cheers, or The Black Parade, I always hear something new. Not just from him, but from everyone in the band. Ok now there's Frank and Mikey. I give them both kudos for being able to keep up with anything that Ray does. There is stuff that the man does that is just mindblowing and these guys stay right there with him. Takes a lot of talent to do that. Then, of course there's Bob. I respect Bob a lot because he is a former band geek and, well, I'm in the band here at college and I can't honestly say that I hate it. There's times that I don't like it, but I don't hate it altogether. And, being in band isn't necessarily easy. I mean, you've got people barking out commands to you constantly and, sometimes, you don't really know for sure what you're supposed to do and let's not even get started on the drill charts...ok ok I know that I'm straying away from the subject, but the point is that Bob knows what it's like to be picked on for being in the band. He probably knows what it's like to have people not listen to the director and get everyone bitched at for no reason, and I'm pretty sure he knows that band camp isn't all that it's caked up to be...Anyway, just please, if you have an opinion on this, tell me. Gerard is a great singer and all, but everyone in that band works just as hard as he does and, sometimes, it just seems like he gets all the credit for it. That's all I'm saying. Anyway...later guys!
